an old school funky psychedelic comic book radio nightmare that takes the listener on a uniquely entertaining journey “through the middle hole of an old 7-inch, to a land far away from your neighbourhood, so come along if you think you should…”. How do you get there? Simple: “Put these magic grillz into your mouth, click your heels and repeat 3 times “there’s no place like old-school!”.

A refreshingly original modern take on classic hip-hop with a dollop of downright madness thrown in, this project has been 3 years in the making. With recording and mixing squeezed in between an often hectic touring schedule, this dirty dope duo's warped sense of humour, along with their impressive set of production, songwriting, MC, human-beatbox, instrumental, percussion, voice-acting and turntable skills are blended to filmic effect on this record.

The result resembles a mash up of 3Ft High and Rising, Bang for the Buck, Ill Communication, Deltron 3030, Quasimoto, The Mighty Boosh, 1984, Brave New World, Monty Python and Ren and Stimpy.

Providing a surreal alternative to doom and gloom, gangsters, pimps, bling, grime and reality, this record stimulates the listener’s imagination and sticks out like a sore thumb not only in terms of the UK hip-hop scene, but also as a superb British music release. get it down ya fucking neck xx
